Machica Group’s Entrepreneurs’ Forum Opens With A Bang

Through its newly-created social service platform–Dr. M. Advisory Clinic–Machica Group sets off its Entrepreneurs’ Forum with a bang in Guiuan, Eastern Samar on January 15, 2018.1stWell participated in by 52 local entrepreneurs and business owners, the forum takes place with a core objective of equipping the participants with awareness on the fundamental government rules and regulations that is applicable to any enterprise.  These includes ‘Business Regulations and Local Taxes’, ‘Internal Revenue Taxes’, ‘SSS / PHIC / HDMF Regulatory Matters’, and ‘Labor Laws and Regulations’.  In addition, discussions on the best practices on ‘Asset Protection, Risk Management, and Financial Planning’ conclude the forum.    For the appreciation of the audience of insurance being one of the risk management tools, Charter Ping An Insurance Corporation and Pioneer Insurance and Surety Corporation have sponsored accident insurance coverage to selected participants.IMG_20180115_141626

IMG_20180115_120112Mr. Philip Aranas, the Executive Assistant to the office of the mayor, partakes an inspiring opening remarks on behalf of Hon. Mayor Christopher Sheen P. Gonzales.   He commended the organizers for the holding of first ever Entrepreneurs’ Summit in such a progressive municipality.  Mr. Maximo Lumactod, the Head of Business Licensing Office of the Guiuan LGU impresses the audience with the local government regulations on business taxes as well as the processes in securing and renewing business permits.  The rest of the subject matters were delivered by the core officers of Machica Group to the delight of the participants.

Machica Group Launches Entrepreneurs’ Forum

Launching

We view the forum as an effective way to improve the local business climate; to clear-out regulatory matters digested by subject matter expert-speakers; and to enhance one’s financial capabilities.  It is our humble way to supporting the growth of local business as well.  Aside from the forum, Dr. M. Advisory Clinic shall render free finance and business consulting as well as corporate leadership mentoring.

Dr. M. Advisory Clinic is a brainchild of Dr. Michael A. Machica, the Group’s Founder / Chairman. When asked of his elevator speech, he summed up his professional advocacy as a financial and business adviser, “I wish to inspire financial freedom of every citizen and enterprise for an economically progressive society.”

The “Back to School Program” is an annual outreach activity of Machica Group as part of Machica Inspires Kids Education (M.I.K.E) social initiatives. Back to School Program goes out to chosen barangays in the region in order to extend help to less fortunate families by giving school supplies to primary school children. The Group has been dedicated with such activity for four years now. This year, M.I.K.E. has chosen pupils at Sulangan Elementary School in Brgy. Sulangan, Guiuan as the program’s beneficiary. More than 100 kids were given school bags and supplies (e.g., papers, pencil, eraser and notebooks) to prepare them for the incoming school year and to lessen the school-related financial burden of their parents.
